Andrea Scherle
I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2019, graduating with honors and distinctions from Academy Canada. My approach is client-focused and collaborative, meaning I take the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and build a treatment plan that aligns with your goals using current evidence-informed practices.
I focus on therapeutic massage, using clinical reasoning to guide each session and adjust techniques based on how your body responds. I may incorporate cupping or gua sha when appropriate, as part of an individualized approach aimed at helping you move better, feel better, and get back to the things you enjoy. Somewhere along the way, I picked up the nickname “walking textbook” — but don’t worry, that just means I like figuring things out, not lecturing you mid-treatment.
I work with a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, motor vehicle accident recovery, sports injuries, and those unexpected “woke up wrong” situations. I especially enjoy working with more complex or stubborn issues and finding what actually works for your body.
I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients and children, and I adapt treatments to meet sensory, communication, and comfort needs in a flexible, supportive environment.
Outside the clinic, I’m a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol, an avid kayaker (always happy to share a whale story), and a ballroom and salsa dance instructor. Before becoming an RMT, I taught outdoor education and survival skills, and I hold a degree in Recreation from Memorial University.
I’m naturally laid-back and adjust each session to what you need that day — whether that’s focused treatment, chatting to keep your mind off things, or a quiet, calming reset.
